Distribution of sprinkle water system in drought hit areas

The Ministry of Disaster Management has taken measures to distribute sprinkle water system to the Chena cultivation and farmers in drought vulnerable districts

Estimated amount of a single sprinkle water system is about Rs. 17 lakhs, and more than 05 acres of land can be covered by a single set.

The distribution of sprinkle water systems to the drought hit areas has been implemented by now and the below pictures shows the distribution of such in Killinochchi districts
Hon. Murugesu Chandrakumar' deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee, Secretary to the Ministry of Disaster Management, District secretary Killinochchi and the Director General of Disaster Management Centre and director of National Disaster Relief service Centre were presented for this moment
